Reclaiming the Magic
As a boy, I used to look to the stars. I built paper planes, imagined entire cities of Lego with functioning economies, and stayed up too late talking to friends. We built forts in the hills and looked forward to every holiday, every day, every new thing.
When did I lose that skill?
Did I just grow up? Or is it the realization that wishing isn’t enough—that the grind can slowly wear down the magic?
I have the rigor. I’ve mastered the discipline. Now, I’m reclaiming the magic.
I’ve been learning to dream again. And I’m dreaming of a sailboat, foreign seas, and the unknown challenges waiting out there.
More to come ;)
